On Saturday, October 19th, the “IKE SUNPARK Open Air Concert 2024” will be held at Toshima Ward's largest park.
This outdoor concert is based on the theme of "The hall is where the audience is," and anyone can enjoy authentic classical music performances in the park for free.
The performance will be by the EGP Quartet, members of Japan's leading Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.
The highlight of this year's event will be live music performances amidst bubbles flying in the park!
Admission is free. There is no dress code or age limit. Wheelchairs, strollers, guide dogs, and hearing dogs are all welcome. If you have bubbles, please bring them with you.
There are also hands-on music events and workshops, such as violin and cello instrument experiences, live painting by children and artists, and pouch making (some events require a fee).
Food donations will also be accepted at the venue on the day. If you have any food lying around at home, would you be so kind as to bring it to us? Even something as small as one can of food, a bag of dried noodles, or a bag of snacks is welcome. We will deliver it to families in need through Toshima Ward or a food bank.
Let's enjoy music together and spread the circle of warm hearts.
We look forward to as many people as possible coming to enjoy this autumnal experience, from infants to adults, to soak up the melodies of a string quartet in the open air!
