Sunshine City Co., Ltd. and Hibiya Amenis Co., Ltd. will create new Ikebukuro art and culture together with people who are attached to Ikebukuro through "Yarn bombing", which weaves trees and buildings in the park using yarn. The "Detsunagumachi Art" project is underway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Knitting workshops have been held in various parts of Ikebukuro since September of this year, and knitting drawings (design drawings for knitting) have been published on the website to solicit motifs from all over the country. A collection of more than a number of motifs.<\/p>\n

In addition to the participants in the knitting workshop, this project is being carried out by students of the Knit Design Department of the Cultural Clothing Academy, elderly people who visited the Toshima Ward Care Prevention Center, Sunshine City employees, Toshima Ward staff, and local communities. It connects people from person to person, such as knitting groups, and various people of all ages from 4 to 90 years old participate from all over Japan, from Toshima in the north to Kyushu in the south.<\/p>\n

In 2021, we knit about 100 trees in Toshima Midori Disaster Prevention Park (nicknamed IKE \/ SUNPARK) and "Ikebukuro" (*) in JR Ikebukuro Station. It will be exhibited from December 1st (Wednesday) to January 31st (Monday) 2022. After the exhibition period, some of the works will be transformed into rugs used on the lawn and will be donated to IKE \/ SUNPARK.<\/p>\n
