Sunshine City (Ikebukuro, Tokyo) prints the art of artists with intellectual disabilities all over Japan under a license agreement with Heral Bonnie Co., Ltd. on the temporary enclosure installed on the 1st floor of the World Import Mart Building in the facility due to construction work. The "UPCYCLE ART MUSEUM" to be exhibited in the temporary enclosure is being held from December 1st (Wednesday) to March 31st (Thursday), 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a city with a lot of entertainment such as an aquarium, a park with nature, and an observatory near the sky, and the "sun", "sea", "nature", and "sky" that make up the landmark "Sunshine City" in Ikebukuro. All 13 works of art that represent the world<\/strong> are exhibited in a temporary enclosure. This initiative supports the "International Art and Culture City Concept", in which Toshima Ward, which has been selected as an "SDGs Future City" and "Local Government SDGs Model Project", aims to be a city where "everyone can play a leading role" as a sustainable and developing city. We are implementing it.<\/p>\n

In addition, in the community lounge "Sunshine City Solarium" on the 3rd floor of the Sunshine City specialty store Alpa, a pop-up shop of the art life brand "HERAL BONY" operated by Heral Bonnie will be opened for a limited time, and fashion such as ties and handkerchiefs will be opened. Including items, bags and accessories that upcycle (*) the art posted in other temporary enclosures in the past will be on sale from December 16th (Thursday) to 26th (Sunday).<\/p>\n

The works to be exhibited in the temporary enclosure until the end of March 2022 will be upcycled in the same way as above and transformed into bags and accessories, and will be sold in Sunshine City around the fall of the same year.<\/p>\n
