One of the representative patterns is “Fuyo (hibiscus),” and that of this year is revival of the first generation that was very popular for its light and tender impression. Another representative pattern is “Bara (rose).” Its standard version is white flowers on deep blue, and that of this year is red flowers on pure white.<\/p>\n
New patterns are also retro-modern such as “Tombo (dragonfly),” “Hotaru (firefly),” and “Hagi (Japanese clover).” Another new pattern “Kobana (small flowers)” is more nostalgic, carrying Taisho-Roman atmosphere. It is hand-dyed by skilled craftsmen using special dying technique called “Chusenzome.” The fabrics used are high-grade cotton\/hemp fabric ideal for beautiful color\/pattern results, and cotton\/Ro fabric that is slightly translucent with pores and offers you a cool and smooth feeling by releasing excess body heat and steam. “Kobana” is therefore a higher-grade Yukata of all.<\/p>\n
