Chez Shibata, operated by Au Delices de Shibata Co., Ltd., is making its first foray into the Kanto region. A new store will open at Seibu Department Store Ikebukuro Main Branch on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Chez Shibata has previously operated mainly in the Tokai region, but will now finally be able to bring fresh Chez Shibata sweets to customers in the Kanto region.<\/p>\n

Chez Shibata has expanded to overseas locations, including Tajimi and Nagoya. With gourmets from around the world now seeking Japanese techniques and flavors, the chain continues to create unique sweets based on the traditions and techniques of French confectionery. Fresh cakes change with the seasons, and the chef's inspiration transforms them into exciting creations.<\/p>\n

The newly opened Seibu Ikebukuro store will offer a wide range of products, including the signature "Eclair aux Boursal\u00e9s" and the Seibu Ikebukuro exclusive "Grand Cru Vanille," as well as seasonal petit gateaux and baked goods. You can fully enjoy the world of Chez Shibata.<\/p>\n
