Born in Niigata prefecture. In 1973, "Unknown Visitor" was published in the autumn issue of "Deluxe Margaret" (Shueisha) and made its debut. In 1976, published "Gentle Devil" in "Hana to Yume" special edition (Hakusensha). Since then, he has been active mainly in mysterious manga in the company's magazine. In 1978, he became a gag writer with "Rashane!" And "Patalliro!", And solidified his popularity. In November 2018, Hana to Yume Comics's "Patalliro!" Reached 100 volumes (currently up to 102 volumes are on sale <following issue>).<\/p>\n

He has drawn many other works, and has published more than 300 related books (including versions of the same work). "Patalliro!"
