Visual futurist Syd Mead, known for the movies "Star Trek," "Tron," "Blade Runner," and the anime "\u2200Gundam," passed away on December 30, last year, and will soon be celebrating his anniversary.<\/p>\n
In 1979, Mr. Mead's first art book "Sentinel" landed in Japan as a foreign book, and has a great impact on various creators.
