Hirotada Ototake<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

Born in Tokyo in 1976. Due to a congenital limb defect, he has been living in an electric wheelchair since childhood. "Five Body Dissatisfaction" (Kodansha) published while attending Waseda University has become a bestseller with a cumulative total of over 6 million copies. After graduating, he worked as a sports writer, elementary school teacher, and Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education. He has traveled abroad in about 80 countries. Currently, he is working on a project to walk with a state-of-the-art artificial limb. His major books include "Daijobu 3 Gumi", "On the Wheel" (both by Kodansha), and "Oto Kotoba." ] (Bungei Shunju) etc.<\/p>\n

\n When I was a student, I found it difficult to live because I was sticking out of the "ordinary" boy image. After graduating from high school, I decided to move to Harajuku, a city that accepts any personality, and express myself as I am. After appearing on a variety show on TV, he became a national talent with a free-spirited character. In July 2018, the eldest son was born between his beloved wife Pekoto. In September of the same year, he was appointed as "Shibuya Diversity Evangelist". Through his own YouTube \/ SNS and media appearances, he has gained a lot of sympathy by disseminating "the importance of affirming himself" through various lifestyles such as fashion, makeup, and child-rearing.<\/p>\n
