As our society is rapidly shifting to ageing society, one of the most important subjects is converting our circumstances into “barrier-free,” and new technology required to realize it is the ICT technology. On March 5, 2015, a seminar of such ICT-based barrier free environment is to be held at Toshima Kumin Center. This seminar features keynote speech by Professor Ken Sakamura from the University of Tokyo who has been working on the ICT-based support for physically challenged people for many years.
