A new cafe concept from Baycrews is opening on the 3rd floor of the Alpa shopping mall! “JOURNAL STANDARD CAFE” opens in mid-July, offering a spacious 94-tsubo (approx. 317 sq ft) area with open windows where you can enjoy deli items, brunch, and afternoon tea.

New versions of GODIVA and Komeda Coffee Shop have also opened, offering a space where you can relax and spend your time.

A new café concept called "JOURNAL STANDARD CAFE," operated by Baycrews, which runs specialty shops such as the select shop "JOURNAL STANDARD" and "JS PANCAKE CAFE," will open in mid-July on the 3rd floor restaurant area of the specialty shop mall Alpa in Sunshine City (Ikebukuro, Tokyo). Taking advantage of its spacious 94-tsubo (approximately 317 square meters) area and open space facing the windows, it will offer a new way to spend time, with options to choose from depending on your mood and occasion, including deli items, brunch, tea time, and takeout.
In the B1 area, a new type of store, "GODIVA," and "Komeda Coffee Shop," located in an area frequented by office workers, opened in April 2026. By adding a variety of cafe functions within the facility, we aim to provide a space where people can spend their time more comfortably and leisurely.

"JOURNAL STANDARD CAFE," opening on the 3rd floor of the Alpa shopping mall, is a new café concept from Baycrews, the company behind specialty shops such as "JOURNAL STANDARD," a select shop offering both basic and trendy items, and "JS PANCAKE CAFE," which is popular among young women. The café aims to create a space where fashionable women in their 20s to 40s can relax and enjoy their time. It will feature two main zones: a deli stand zone that caters to workers and takeout needs, and a lounge café zone where customers can enjoy pancakes and brunch menus at their leisure, allowing customers to choose how they want to use the space depending on their mood. In addition, a custom tea bar will be set up where customers can freely customize their teas, herbal teas, and syrups, creating a comfortable space that makes the most of the approximately 94 square meter area.

Additionally, "GODIVA," which opened on B1 on April 30th, is a new type of store that not only sells merchandise but also has a cafe space where customers can enjoy original chocolate drinks like "Chocolixir" and dessert crepes like parfaits. The B1 west entrance area where the store is located is a zone mainly for women's apparel, and the cafe will be developed as a place where women in their 20s and 30s who enjoy trendy fashion can take a break while shopping, thereby improving foot traffic. Furthermore, "Komeda Coffee Shop," which also opened on B1 on April 28th, will be open in the morning, taking into account the needs of office workers. It will be a full-service cafe, providing a comfortable space where customers can relax before a busy day at work.

Godiva is a premium chocolate brand that originated in Brussels, Belgium, and is a purveyor to the Belgian royal family.
