Grit International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter: Grit International) will grand open its fifth Randy's Donuts store in Japan, the hugely popular donut shop from Los Angeles, "Randy's Donuts Ikebukuro West Exit Store," inside Ikebukuro Station on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
Randy's Donuts is a hugely popular donut shop that was founded in Los Angeles in 1952. In particular, the giant donut-shaped sign that stands on the roof of the first US store, with a diameter of approximately 10 meters (32 feet), has long been a symbol of the city and is widely known as a Los Angeles landmark, having appeared in popular movies and music videos.
The first Randy's Donuts store in Japan, "Shibuya Daikanyama," which had its grand opening last May, has attracted a lot of attention. It features a giant donut-shaped sign, approximately 4 meters in diameter and the symbol of Randy's Donuts, in front of the store, and displays up to approximately 1,000 donuts of more than 40 different designs, all handmade daily, in a large showcase measuring approximately 3 meters high and 2.7 meters wide.
Furthermore, in September of last year, we opened our first take-out only store, "Randy's Donuts Shinjuku Iitrumine Store," followed by "Randy's Donuts Tokyo Gift Palette Store" inside Tokyo Station in December. In March of this year, we opened "Randy's Donuts Yurakucho Marui Store," and we are actively expanding our stores to serve even more customers.
Randy's Donuts Ikebukuro West Exit Store, the fifth store in Japan, is a take-out only shop located at Ikebukuro Station, one of the busiest terminal stations in Japan, with numerous train lines converging from all over the Tokyo metropolitan area.
To commemorate this grand opening, we are releasing two limited-edition donuts, "Almond Chocolate Raised" and "Almond Strawberry Raised," exclusively at the Randy's Donuts Ikebukuro West Exit store, and have also prepared a limited-edition item, the "Takeout Bag Pink (S)."
