Mostfun Co., Ltd., which aims to have the world's highest employee satisfaction in Japan, will grand open a new type of restaurant, "Uo to Sake Beck Ikebukuro West Exit Store," on Friday, May 15, 2026, on the street just a two-minute walk from the west exit of Ikebukuro Station.
This restaurant is a fish pub that inherits the discerning eye and spirit of "Uohatsu," a long-established fish shop that has been loved in Kichijoji for about 100 years. The restaurant offers dishes that bring out the maximum flavor of the ingredients, along with carefully selected Japanese sake, with its signature "Fourth Generation Bucket Platter," which features the freshest fish of the day cut into thick slices in the style of a fish shop. There is also a mezzanine seating area where you can take off your shoes and relax, creating a space where you can enjoy delicious fish and sake without feeling stiff or formal.

■ Bringing the expertise of a 100-year-old fishmonger to Ikebukuro

Approximately 100 years ago, Uohatsu, a long-established fish shop in Kichijoji, transformed into Musashisakai Osakana-ya-san in 2020 and has continued to be loved by the community. Even after Musashisakai Osakana-ya-san joined Mostfun in 2024, its discerning eye and belief in "bringing joy to the customers in front of us" are still carefully preserved and continue to evolve.
At this restaurant, the owner of "Musashi-Sakai Osakana-ya" visits Toyosu Market every morning to personally purchase the freshest fish available that day. Furthermore, the fish he has selected is delivered directly to the restaurant, where the head chefs transform it into uncompromising dishes for customers.

From "Uohatsu," founded about 100 years ago, to "Musashisakai Osakana-ya-san," and then to "Uo to Sake Beck," we have incorporated the history and passion of the fish shop that has been passed down through generations into our offerings, and named it "Fourth Generation Okemori."
Based on the concept of "A fishmonger's dedication is conveyed through thickness," we offer the freshest and most delicious fish of the day in generously thick slices. This is a unique fishmonger's platter, where every single slice is sure to satisfy.

Our original "Hyakunen Shoyu" (Hundred-Year Soy Sauce), developed specifically to complement sashimi, comes in two varieties: a crisp, dry dashi soy sauce and a rich, sweet tamari soy sauce. Furthermore, we are particular about every ingredient, using "Namara Salt" from Hokkaido and fresh vegetables harvested that morning and delivered daily from Chiba Prefecture.
