Manbaken, operated by Garden Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), will open "Manbaken Ikebukuro West Exit Main Store" on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. To commemorate the opening, Manbaken Ikebukuro West Exit Main Store will offer "Miso Ramen (Regular)" for 710 yen (780 yen including tax) for one day only on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
The Ikebukuro West Exit area is one of Japan's leading terminal areas, with JR, private railways, and subways converging there. It boasts one of the highest pedestrian traffic volumes in Japan, with approximately 2.5 million people using the area daily. As one of the three major terminals, alongside Shinjuku and Shibuya, it attracts not only commuters and students but also many people from both Japan and abroad. The new store is located within walking distance of Ikebukuro Station's West Exit, in a bustling commercial district where many people come and go. This area is used by a wide range of people, including office workers, students, shoppers, and foreign visitors to Japan. The store aims to cater to diverse occasions, from lunch and dinner to after-work drinks or a final drink after a meal.
We aim to create a community-based store where customers of all ages can easily drop by, and where both domestic and international visitors to Ikebukuro can easily enjoy Japan's unique miso ramen culture.
