Our new store, located near Ikebukuro Station, will stock approximately 50,000 items, just a 2-minute walk from the current store.
Disk Union Co., Ltd. will be relocating its Ikebukuro store and reopening it on August 26th. Please note that the current store will close on August 24th.
This relocation is due to the rebuilding of the building where our current store is located. The new location is just a two-minute walk from the current store and will continue to be conveniently located near Ikebukuro Station.
Regarding the relocation and new opening of Disk Union Ikebukuro store
Disk Union Ikebukuro store opened in 2000 and has been a long-standing favorite of customers in the Ikebukuro area.
The new store will have a sales floor of approximately 60 tsubo (approximately 200 square meters) and will stock around 50,000 items, from standard items to discontinued and rare records, welcoming customers with the same extensive selection of all genres, mainly rock, as before.
Furthermore, our Ikebukuro store will continue to offer one of the best selections of vintage music-related T-shirts and band T-shirts. In addition, we will expand our lineup of movie DVDs and Blu-rays, and strengthen our sales and purchase of classical music.
Even after the relocation, there will be no major changes to the product lineup, and we aim to be a store where customers who have previously shopped at our Ikebukuro store can continue to enjoy shopping with peace of mind.
