【billboard classics World Premium Robert Glasper Experiment x Tomomi Nishimoto Symphonic Concert】is scheduled to be held at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre on June 6!

Robert Glasper, Grammy-Award-winning jazz pianist, collaborates with IlluminArt Philharmonic Orchestra that features the art director/chief conductor Tomomi Nishimoto.

Glasper and Nishimoto, who are now the representatives of current jazz and classical music scenes respectively, made the whole program by having conversations between New York and Tokyo.

The program includes “Mozart Piano Concerto No.21,” and Glasper plays this for the first time on stage. Also they play covers and standards such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Aflo Blue” from his album “Black Radio” that won a Grammy Award, “Mortal Man” of Kendrick Lamar, “Maiden Voyage” of Herbie Hancock.

The program of course includes his original tunes such as “I Stand Alone,” “For You,” “Gonna Be Alright (F.T.B.)” and many more featuring his musical influences from many different genres such as classical, jazz, hip hop, and rock music.

Please do not miss this special chance to experience the musical fusion of Nishimoto and Glasper.
