The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest Executive Committee, which includes Dwango Co., Ltd., Animate Co., Ltd., and Hacosta Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that it will hold the large-scale Halloween event for cosplayers, "Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest 2024," for three days from Friday, October 25th to Sunday, October 27th, 2024.
The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival is one of Japan's largest Halloween events, with over 20,000 cosplayers participating every year in Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward. This year, the 11th year, the main stage will be moved from Ikesan Park to Nakaikebukuro Park, and various stage events will be held, such as "Nico Nico Cosplaytion" where you can show off your best cosplays and "Parent and Child Halloween". In addition, the "Ikeharo Cosplay Parade", where about 400 cosplayers paraded through the streets of Ikebukuro, the largest number ever, will be held last year, and events that even beginners to cosplay can enjoy will be held, creating an event that can be enjoyed by a wider range of people. In addition, "Ikeharo Night" will be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City from 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25th, where you can enjoy cosplay suited to night situations, photo sessions that make use of the night view, and various other events. Details of each event and additional information will be announced at a later date.
Various tickets will go on sale from Friday, September 13, 2024.
*Participants in "Ike Hallo Night" must be 18 years of age or older (high school students are not allowed to enter).

The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival celebrated its memorable 10th anniversary last year, with over 140,000 visitors attending.
This year will also mark the start of a greater leap forward than ever before for the next decade.
Cosplay culture has now become one of Japan's representative cultural forms. We believe that the fact that this wonderful festival is being held in the Ikebukuro area of Toshima Ward, a mecca for manga and anime, is a rare opportunity to promote the ward as a mecca for manga and anime both in Japan and overseas.
As a ward, we will make every effort to create a safe and secure environment so that local residents and all participants can fully enjoy this cosplay festival, one of the largest in the country.
