PARCO Co., Ltd. will be holding a solo exhibition titled "Zokusei" by illustrator Kei Mochizuki, who is active in a wide range of genres, including illustrations for numerous popular titles, character designs, and book covers, at PARCO FACTORY on the 7th floor of Ikebukuro PARCO, from Friday, November 21st, 2025 to Monday, December 15th, 2025.
This is the artist's second solo exhibition in six years since his first solo exhibition, "Let It Be a Shape of Love," held in 2019, and will feature approximately 100 pieces, including dozens of illustrations created specifically for the event, as well as original illustrations and past works. In a society overwhelmed with information, the exhibition is titled "Zoku Sekai" (Secular World) with the aim of realizing an environment where creators and fans can connect more deeply through their works, and for creators' creative activities to be evaluated from more diverse angles and enriched.
To commemorate the opening of this solo exhibition, a wide variety of goods will be on sale, allowing you to enjoy Kei Mochizuki's illustrations, including original reproductions of the original artwork, acrylic stands, acrylic blocks, badges, stickers, metal charms, and apparel such as pullover hoodies and T-shirts. Also on sale will be crayons (Sakura Cray-Pas) with original packaging featuring the original illustration, and a Fate/Grand Order "Bhavan Sea" plush toy inspired by the original illustration.

■Exhibition contents
The exhibition will feature approximately 100 pieces, including dozens of illustrations created specifically for the event, a newly drawn illustration of "Bhavan Shi" from Fate/Grand Order designed by Kei Mochizuki, as well as original illustrations and past works.
The venue space is divided into three themes: "boredom," "noise," and "blindness," and challenges the current situation in which the inherent appeal of artworks and the intentions of artists are obscured by an abundance of numbers and information. The exhibition will create an experience that allows visitors to confront their own aesthetic sense and rediscover the inherent value of artworks.
The concept design, exhibition direction, and design were all handled by art director Tomoyuki Arima (Nippon Design Center), and in an age where a huge number of illustrations are consumed every day, the exhibition will allow fans of Kei Mochizuki and anyone interested in creativity to take the time to carefully consider a single painting.
■Comment from the Artist Director
Comment from Kei Mochizuki
My name is Kei Mochizuki.
I will be holding a solo exhibition titled "Zoku Sekai."
I have decided to hold a solo exhibition in order to pursue what the meaning of my life is, what I am as an illustrator, and what the value of life is.
I hope that by painting I can give form to my thoughts, joy, anger, and resignation.
I would be happy if you could come and see it.
I will do my best.
Comment from Tomoyuki Arima
I will be participating in Kei Mochizuki's solo exhibition "Zokusei."
I feel a sense of empathy for Mochizuki-san, and that is that we share the same expectations for the present time and environment, as well as the same amount of anxiety, and the way we think about what is good to do from that (even if it is not something that is welcomed). I feel that something new is being created. Please look forward to it.
