The Sunshine Aquarium (Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Director: Katsushi Maruyama) was held in 2017 and received a lot of feedback, with the book “Zannennai Kimono Encyclopedia” that introduces “the creatures who are trying hard but somehow”. We will hold the second “Zannennai Kimono Exhibition 2” of the collaboration exhibition “Zannennai Kimono Exhibition”.
This time it will be composed of two parts with divided periods, with the first from October 30, 2020 (Friday) to March 16, 2021 (Tuesday), the creatures will be renewed from the previous content, and in May this year Approximately 20 kinds of excerpts from 5 series including the latest released work “Further Zannennai Kimono Encyclopedia” are exhibited.
You can enjoy the exhibition of creatures along with the world view of the book, divided into 5 sections: “Zannen body”, “Zannen ability”, “Zannen way of life”, “Wow but Zannen”, and “Zannen commitment”.
In the second round from March 20th (holiday) to May 9th (Sun), 2021, in addition to the renewal of the above five corners, “Zannen na Name” will be added to the lineup as a new corner.
In addition, the “Zannennai Kimono” selected by the Sunshine Aquarium staff will be newly exhibited. This is a complete original of “Zannennai Kimono Exhibition 2” which is not published in the book! In addition, original products limited to this collaboration exhibition will also be on sale!

・ “Mozukushoi cannot settle down without something on his back.”

The name comes from the characteristic of carrying seaweed waste (seaweed waste) on the shell and legs. Not only algae debris but also coral fragments and pumice stones are carried on the back, and they are mimicked to protect themselves from foreign enemies.

It is a member of the sea anemone that can be seen on the coast of Japan, and is characterized by a red body color like dried plums. Recent studies have revealed that baby sea anemones are born from a part of the sea anemone’s stomach.

Lodoicea
It weighs about 2 kg! It is the largest seed in the world and looks just like the buttocks!
Lodoicea is a family of palms distributed in the Seychelles Islands and reaches a height of 30m. It is known as the largest seed-bearing plant in the plant kingdom, and has five other world records such as “fruit weight” and “cotyledon length”. Due to its weight, it does not float in the sea, so it lives only in a limited area of the Seychelles Islands.

In order to reproduce the smell of stink bugs, a perfumer sniffs the scent and adjusts the scent to a state close to reality. Experience the strong smell of stink bugs, which is especially bad in the insect world !!
* Stink bugs live in Japanese forests. When attacked by a foreign enemy, it shoots a liquid that gives off a strong odor from the base of the foot and repels the enemy.

I haven’t smelled stink bugs so much, and at the beginning of development, I made a prototype and made it repeatedly. Normally, the finished product is completed in about 10 times, but we repeated the trial production about 50 times. At first, I imagined a scent similar to coriander, but I was able to smell the real scent with the biological sample provided by Sunshine Aquarium, and I was able to get closer to a real scent!
