"Michinoku Iimon Umaimon" Reconstruction Support Sales Association is a product exhibition aimed at supporting the development of sales channels for small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. We have been doing this since 2014 in order to improve our "sales power" through sales at department store events, but this is the final episode. The event will be held for a total of 21 days at three venues: Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store (Tokyo), Takashimaya Yokohama Store (Kanagawa Prefecture), and Takatsuki Hankyu (Osaka Prefecture).

The exhibitors this time are a total of 105 companies in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures, and there are about 1000 items that are proud of each region. Wakame seaweed processors and fish processors, who have revived despite being damaged by the tsunami and have come to create products that differentiate them from others, will exhibit products that are proud of their taste. In addition, we have a wide range of products with excellent techniques unique to Tohoku, such as mountain grape juice and yogurt using goat milk, crafts using mountain grape vines, and lacquer ware and pottery.

This year, we plan to carry out various campaigns with demonstrations that will be enjoyed by visitors, based on the measures taken by the venue for the new coronavirus.
