WORLD PEACE ART EXHIBITION 2021 in Tokyo
Qualiart Co., Ltd. will hold the 29th International Peace Art Exhibition (Domestic) at "Tokyo Metropolitan Theater Exhibition Gallery 1 and 2" in Ikebukuro, Tokyo from July 6th (Tuesday) to July 10th (Saturday), 2021. Exhibition) will be held.
The "International Peace Art Exhibition" was established in 1993 with the theme of "Peace Quest from Art". With the cooperation of the Government of Japan, local governments, public institutions, and VIPs from all over the world, we have exchanged our thoughts on peace with many people through the events held in cities both inside and outside Japan.
This exhibition, which will be the 29th, will mark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the United States, and will be called "Tokyo Metropolitan Theater" in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, in prayer for the repose of 9/11 and permanent peace. It will be held on two stages, "Carnegie Hall", a music hall in New York, USA.
The domestic exhibition, which will be held from July 6th prior to the overseas exhibition, is a large art and cultural facility with four exhibition rooms in addition to large, medium and small halls. Approximately 280 art works will be exhibited at the "Tokyo Metropolitan Theater," which is co-sponsored and affiliated with each art organization.
We have a wide range of works from each genre, including Japanese paintings, Western paintings, sculptures, crafts, photography, calligraphy, and architecture, and we will deliver the "wishes for peace" contained in each genre.
Carnegie Hall, which celebrates its 130th anniversary this year, is a concert hall that has left a lot of excitement for the world's top artists, and is a historical building designated by the United States as a music hall of fame.
On these special stages, we will mourn the tragedy caused by the new coronavirus that is spreading on 9/11 and around the world, and aim to restore the mind through art.
We will do our best to make this exhibition an intimate cultural exchange that transcends national borders.
