At the Ancient Orient Museum (Director: Akio Tsukimoto) in Sunshine City (Ikebukuro, Tokyo), as a special exhibition in the summer of 2021, "Enjoy the Ancient Orient! What is the "Ancient Orient"?
An ancient civilization that flourished in the present Middle East region. It includes ancient Egypt, ancient Mesopotamia, ancient Persia, etc., and is said to correspond to the period from the 4000 BC when Sumer rose to the 4th century BC when Alexander the Great made an eastern expedition.

This exhibition is designed to introduce the charm of the ancient Orient world to children, mainly elementary and junior high school students, who do not have the opportunity to learn the history of the Orient in class.
Based on the collection exhibition of the Ancient Orient Museum, there is a mechanism to enjoy exhibits such as "Ancient Orient Ruins Stamp Rally (starting on August 1)" and "Favorite Exhibit Drawing Sheet" so that children can enjoy learning about the history and culture of the Ancient Orient. There are many.
Elementary, junior high and high school students will receive a "Museum Note" with an exhibition commentary.

In the special exhibition "Attracted by Gold, Silver and Copper", which has fascinated people since ancient times , the encounter between humans and gold, silver and copper, the story of mines, how to make gold, silver and copper products, how to use them, etc. Introducing the ancient Orient gold, silver and copper products (containers, weapons, trinkets, coins, etc.).
