Yowamushi Pedal, a very popular bicycle road race manga that began serialization in 2008 and is still loved by a wide range of readers, has sold a total of 30 million copies (including electronic versions), and is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten). This will be the largest exhibition in the history of “~Celebrating the 15th anniversary of serialization~ Super! Yowamushi Pedal Exhibition” will be held at Sunshine City (Ikebukuro, Tokyo) from March 29, 2024 (Friday) to April 21, 2024 (Sunday).

This exhibition celebrates the 15th anniversary of Yowamushi Pedal serialization and the total of 100 books in the series.The exhibition will be held in a large venue of over 1,500 square meters, and will not only display over 200 valuable original drawings, but also have a crowdfunding success rate of 530%. We will welcome you with a number of exhibits and products, including the “Giant Midosuji-kun,'' which sold for a whopping 16 million yen, as well as commemorative goods for this exhibition.

“Yowamushi Pedal” work introduction

A very popular bicycle road race manga that began serialization in 2008 and continues to be loved by a wide range of readers. It was made into a stage play in 2012 and a TV anime in 2013, and aired for five seasons. It will be made into a live-action drama in 2016 and a live-action movie in 2020. Cumulative total of comics sold over 30 million copies (including electronic version). In 2015, won the 39th Kodansha Manga Award (boys category). Currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (released every Thursday).
The long-awaited latest volume 88 will be released on 3/7.

The spin-off work “Yowamushi Pedal SPARE BIKE'' is also being serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Champion.
The main character, Sakamichi Onoda, is an otaku who loves anime and games. Sakamichi, who entered Chiba Prefectural Sohoku High School, is challenged to a bicycle race by a classmate and awakens to the fun and competition of cycling. Sakamichi, who has no sense of exercise and is inexperienced, discovers the joy of riding a road bike, said to be the fastest bike on earth, and his own potential, and grows. Sakamichi is currently a third year student at Sohoku High School and is the captain of the cycling club.
