Chimney Co., Ltd., which operates the seafood izakaya chains "Hana no Mai" and "Sakanaya Dojo" nationwide, will open its second "Hiire Mitsukoi" Japanese restaurant, which focuses on "cooking" to bring out the maximum potential of the ingredients, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, on the 8th floor of the Yodobashi HD Ikebukuro Building.

Opened in June 2024, the "Shinjuku West Exit Palette Store" has gained the support of many customers for its carefully prepared dishes, including "primitive-style grilling," and its calm, sophisticated atmosphere.
To bring this experience to even more customers, we are pleased to announce the opening of our second store in "Yodobashi Ikebukuro," a new landmark attracting attention in the Ikebukuro area.
Specialty – Three "Cooking Techniques"
We offer three highly specialized styles that showcase the depth of "cooking time," a crucial element that dramatically alters the flavor of a dish.
Grilling… "Primitive grilling"
Using the traditional Japanese cooking method known as "primitive grilling," fatty mackerel and Kinka pork are grilled to perfection over charcoal using radiant heat. Our signature dish, "Grilled Fatty Mackerel with Mentaiko," is an exquisite dish with a savory aroma and the accent of mentaiko (spicy cod roe) that pairs perfectly with drinks.
To boil… "Oden"
Mitsukoi's unique oden features a rich broth made with bonito, kelp, shiitake mushrooms, and chicken stock. The lineup ranges from classic ingredients to exquisite items that highlight the flavor of the ingredients, such as oysters and tuna cheek meat.
Cooking… "Rice in an earthenware pot"
Our rice is cooked individually in each pot after you place your order. Enjoy the natural sweetness and aroma of the rice in luxurious dishes such as "Salmon and Salmon Roe Rice" and seasonal "Mixed Vegetable Rice."
