The theme of "Sanrio Character Festival" is "Sanrio Puroland is coming to everyone's town!". This is the first event to be held so that you can experience, learn, and play with your family and friends. It seems that it will be held nationwide in the future.

Meet and shoot characters at Greeting Land. Play at fairs and theme parks, experience musicals and parades, buy at KAWAII department stores … It is a venue where everyone from small children to adults can enjoy a variety of content packed with Sanrio's "kawaii".

At the opening of the exhibition, eight Sanrio characters, Hankyodon, Pompompurin, My Melody, Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Keroppi, and Tuxedo Sam, who can meet at Greeting Land, all rushed in. (Excuse me for the title abbreviation from the left)

Giant air balloon
At "( 1) Giant Balloon Photo Spot" just after entering the entrance, huge Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Gudetama balloons welcome visitors. It's very powerful. Gudetama is a big size that seems to hit the ceiling …!

It's so big that it may be difficult for people to fit in the picture together without devising the shooting angle. I was able to shoot with the small Badtz-Maru and Little Twin Stars in the same area without any problems.
There are also small size characters. Badtz-Maru wearing this red clothes is lovely.

Apparently, it seems that the schedule is to change 2 to 4 people each depending on the day. The greeting itself seems to be about 25 minutes each time.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to shoot side by side, but the service spirit of the characters shines there. He did his best to take a two-shot with a sense of unity as much as possible, such as crouching when shooting with a small child. Thank you!

KAWAII FESTIVAL musical experience
In "③ KAWAII FESTIVAL Musical Experience" , you can challenge the choreography to the popular songs that appear in the Puroland parade.
The MC's older sister will teach you the choreography carefully from the stage, so let's all get excited according to the actual parade video. According to the guide, there are 9 performances a day.

The next area is "④ Digital Theme Park" . You can enjoy 4 AR digital activities that you can play while using your head and body by Little Planet, which provides a new experience of "technology" x "play".

Playing with sand in AR
Also, the sand party, an attraction where you can experience playing with sand in AR, was popular with children. The machine detects how much sand has been dug and the image changes. You can create rivers on the spot and excavate treasures. A magic wand will tell you the location of the treasure, so even a small child can find the treasure immediately.
