トキワ荘通りお休み処 来館者10万人突破 「観て・読んで・買って」まち全体でマンガ文化を満喫 ～マンガミュージアムも3万人目前～
「トキワ荘マンガミュージアム」のショップ兼案内処として人気の「トキワ荘通りお休み処」の来館者が、令和2年11月29日（日曜）に10万人を突破しました。 ミュージアム観覧後にゆかりのあるマンガ家らの作品を「トキワ荘マンガステーション」で読み、お休み処で買い物をする、まち全体が一連の施設であるような、地域を回遊する楽しみ方が浸透しています。 トキワ荘通りお休み処は、トキワ荘のあったまちをPRするため、平成25年、トキワ荘跡地の近くに休憩・案内施設としてオープンしました。12月15日に7周年を迎えます。トキワ荘関連の展示や書籍の閲覧、オリジナルグッズなどお土産の販売を行っています。現在では貴重な当時の雑誌等を手に取ることができ、マンガ家たち行きつけだったカフェの机やいす等も展示。トキワ荘マンガミュージアム等に訪れる方々をさらに楽しませ、また、ほっと一息つける憩いの場として親しまれています。 本年7月、念願のマンガミュージアムとマンガステーションがオープンしたことで3施設を回遊しながらマンガ文化を堪能する楽しみ方が可能になりました。7月以降、トキワ荘通りお休み処の来館者は月150％増加し、今回の10万人達成の後押しとなりました。 記念すべき10万人目となったのは岡本さんご家族で、高野区長より花束と記念品（花束、クリスタル製「トキワ荘オブジェ」、「寺田ヒロオ展」および次回特別企画展「トキワ荘と手塚治虫-ジャングル大帝の頃‐」ご招待の目録）が贈られました。なお、クリスタル製「トキワ荘オブジェ」は、お休み処にて期間・数量限定で販売予定です。 ■「トキワ荘通りお休み処」では、開館7周年記念イベントを実施中です 開館7周年の記念イベントとして、第1弾・トキワ荘関連施設を巡り、記念品を贈呈するイベントを開催中です。すでに約900名の方に参加していただいております（記念品は無くなり次第終了）。 現在、第2弾・記帳ノートスライドショーを実施中です。12月15日より、第3弾としてオリジナル缶バッチの制作企画を実施します。 【問い合わせ】 〇トキワ荘通りお休み処 電話：03-6674-2518 （※月曜日休館。月曜祝日の場合は翌平日が休館日） 〇文化観光課 電話：03-5992-7018
