"Ikebukuro Mystery Town", organized by the Toshima Art Culture Urban Planning Association, is a project aimed at making Ikebukuro a mecca for mysteries by developing over 20 mystery attractions in various locations throughout Ikebukuro. This time, they will be releasing the fourth installment in their collaboration with the mystery manga "The Kindaichi Case Files (※)".
In this series, Kindaichi Hajime's greatest nemesis, Takato Yoichi, the "puppet master from hell," is secretly plotting to create Ikebukuro, a city of perfect crimes, and the player must solve the mystery to stop him. This time, the game is set in Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro Main Branch, and the player becomes a detective to solve the mystery of a mysterious murder that occurred within the store. Using "drama footage performed by real actors" and the "audio guide app 'Pokke'," players can enjoy a mystery attraction where they solve a realistic "authentic mystery" by working together with Kindaichi Hajime and his fellow detectives.

■Synopsis of this work
The incident occurred on the day of the rehearsal for the "Miracle Show" to be held on the rooftop stage of Tobu Department Store. When reporter Itsuki Yosuke, who had smelled a crime, entered the store, he found detective Mayuzumi Daigo there. Upon seeing the red roses left at the scene, the two of them said in unison, "This case involves the puppet master of Hell, Takato Yoichi!" Kindaichi was out of Tokyo, but he agreed to cooperate with the investigation remotely, and Mayuzumi Daigo and the detective in charge, Kishitani Yukio, called in the best detectives from all over the country. The detectives then worked with the double detective team of Kindaichi and Mayuzumi to solve the case!
■ There are four collaborative attractions with "The Kindaichi Case Files" in Ikebukuro. The lineup includes a variety of genres, including murder mystery, traveling puzzle solving, and full-scale mystery solving.
This is the fourth collaborative attraction with "The Kindaichi Case Files," the first of which was released in August 2023. Ikebukuro Mystery Town has pioneered various new genres of mystery attractions, and this series also has a lineup of various genres such as murder mystery, traveling puzzle solving, and full-scale mystery. This is an industry-government-academia collaboration project that aims to make Ikebukuro a "holy land of mystery" by setting up experience-based mystery attractions all over the area in 2023, marking the 100th anniversary of Edogawa Ranpo's debut as a writer. Toshima Ward, Taisho University, the shopping district, Sunshine City, and others are working together to release more than 20 attractions in various parts of Ikebukuro, which will be updated regularly. It is expected to attract 100,000 people per year.
