[Sunshine City x Anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"] Third collaboration event!

Sunshine City (Ikebukuro, Tokyo) will be holding a collaboration event with the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" called "Sunshine City x Anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Total Concentration! Urban Legend of the Sun Chapter 3" from Friday, September 5th to Sunday, November 9th.

This marks the third collaboration between Sunshine City and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" since 2020. To commemorate the release of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza Returns" on Friday, July 18th, five new character illustrations will be featured in addition to illustrations from previous collaboration events . Additionally, Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbo Park and Sunshine Aquarium, both located within Sunshine City, will be selling date-specific admission tickets with original merchandise. For the first time in this collaboration, a keyword rally will also be held at Sunshine Aquarium. Furthermore, a restaurant fair will be held at the Alpa Sky Restaurant, where visitors can win bromides . The world of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" can be enjoyed throughout Sunshine City. Additionally, a special event where visitors can meet characters will be held at the Fountain Plaza on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th.

What is the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"?

The series is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which has sold over 150 million copies in Shueisha Jump Comics volumes 1 to 23. The animation is produced by ufotable.
The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons, joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon, back into a human. The TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Tanjiro Kamado: Resolve Arc" began airing in April 2019, followed by the release of the movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" in October 2020. From 2021 to 2022, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Entertainment District Arc" were broadcast and streamed.
