Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tokyo Metro") established a new passenger information center on October 1, 2020 (Thursday) to guide travelers and customers unfamiliar with the subway.

Currently, passenger information centers are set up at Ueno Station, Ginza Station, Shinjuku Station, Omotesando Station, Tokyo Station, Shibuya Station *, and Ikebukuro Station is the 7th station. (* Shibuya Station is jointly operated with Tokyu Corporation)

Ikebukuro is a city with different faces on the east and west sides of the station. On the east side, there is the landmark Sunshine 60, which is a popular spot as a sacred place for anime and manga. In addition, the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater is on the west side, and in 2019, the Global Ring was completed at Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park.

We will prepare the city of Ikebukuro, which has different faces in the east and west and will continue to evolve as an art city, as a "guide for Tokyo" so that more customers can enjoy it.
