Discover the sexual appeal of living creatures! This popular project is back after three years!
Sunshine Aquarium will be holding a special evening event called "Return of the Sexuality Exhibition" from September 6th (Friday) to November 4th (Monday, national holiday), with the theme of the "sexuality" of living creatures.
The "Sex-Filled Exhibition" is a unique project by Sunshine Aquarium that allows visitors to have fun learning about the "mysteries of sex" such as the strategies and ingenuity that living things use to survive, and the sexuality of living things. It has been held three times since 2019, and a total of about 90,000 people have enjoyed learning about a deep world that they usually have little opportunity to know about.
Three years have passed since the last event was held in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are returning to our normal lifestyles. In this context, the joy of being able to meet and interact with people has once again grown, and I believe that the value of contact has increased even more .
Now is the time to give visitors the chance to actually "touch" the animals and develop an interest in the reproductive behavior of creatures related to their sexuality, thereby helping them to realize the charm of living things . In this way, we have decided to hold an even more powerful "Sex-filled Exhibition."
This will be the first event in three years and will feature a variety of exhibits that will compare the "sexual differences" of living creatures, such as breeding behavior, courtship behavior, and reproductive organs, to human sexual culture.
We will introduce you to the unknown aspects and charms of these creatures along with explanatory panels featuring unique illustrations.
In addition, the exhibition will feature decorations with a Japanese theme that have never been seen before, as well as more popular content that has garnered attention in the past three exhibitions. There will be plenty of ways to enjoy the exhibition, including touching and peeking.
