As an opening campaign, the Ikebukuro West Exit store will be holding the following ① to ② on Thursday, June 19th.
① We will be offering a "Half Price Curry Lunch Set" from 11:00 to 17:00, which allows you to eat curry for just 42 yen, with a limit of 100 meals.
② "Dinner drinks for 42 yen (some exclusions apply)" available from 5pm to 11pm.
The Ikebukuro East Exit store is located a 5-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro East Exit and has a total of 42 seats, while the Ikebukuro West Exit store is located a 5-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro East Exit and has a total of 40 seats.
"Spice Laboratory BistroMAD CHEFs" is a new curry restaurant that will open in Ikebukuro on Sunday, June 1st and Thursday, June 19th, 2025 .
Our main products are curry and naan, which are hand-prepared daily by a chef who has trained in India and Nepal.
We are sure that Japanese customers will be satisfied with our rich and varied curry and four types of naan made with plenty of butter.
Among the more than 60 items on the menu, we have other featured items available this time besides "curry and naan."
This is the "Pocket Pizza Paratha" that has just arrived in Japan for the first time.
Our pocket pizzas are made with paratha*1 and are filled with plenty of cheese*2, vegetables*3 and chicken thighs.
Although it looks and tastes completely different from the Italian-style pocket pizza eaten in Japan, it is popular among the common people in India and Nepal as a soul food.
The chicken thighs are marinated in yogurt, making them incredibly juicy and tender.
*1 Paratha is made by rolling out chapati dough, spreading ghee on it, and folding it repeatedly to incorporate layers of ghee, then rolling it out thinly and baking it.
