11-1 studio (Juichinoichi Studio), which started as a maker space with a daily cafe for the first time in the Ikebukuro / Kanamecho area from September 2020, proposes a month to experience crafts and creativity this December.
In the cafe space, a solo exhibition "Reconstruction Cafe" will be held by one master of the renovation of an old folk house.
In the adjacent workshop space, a female cutlery unit "Faso Brunia" is working in and out, and the prototype is tried step by step as a part of cafe tableware.
It's a month where you can enjoy the daily special cafe and the crafts that are unfolded in the workshop at the same time.
1. Solo exhibition "Reconstruction Cafe"
The first solo exhibition at 11-1 studio. However, the venue is a cafe, and the solo exhibition is a unique project of being the only master of a construction company that handles many renovations of old folk houses.
The plywood table for workshops rather than cafes, which is usually used in cafe spaces, will be replaced with a table made of old materials for the past month. The old material was handed over and collected from the site of dismantling by the one master.
Why don't you relax at the daily cafe while thinking about the history and memories of old materials.
2. Female cutlery unit
The share workshop started in September, but its members are various.
Of course, there are people who DIY everyday things as a hobby, but there are also people who make products for sale to the world as professionals. From December, the female cutlery unit "Faso Brunia" aiming to launch its own brand will come and go to such a workshop and start producing wooden cutlery.
We are also planning to try out their wooden cutlery produced in such a workshop as tableware in stages at the cafe next door.
3.1 Full lineup of daily cafes in February
"Coffee shop with no name yet" (12/17/24) where beans are roasted in the Arms style at the Arms Share Roasting Plant in Higashi Nagasaki, and "COFFEE & ARTS" (12/6 ) in search of delicious specialty coffee.・ 12) is a collaboration with barista "Brewed and Screwed" , a private roasting shop "Kuho Roasting Station" (12/13/27) , which is also popular for pairing specialty coffee and Japanese sweets, and sweets using honey from Itabashi. Unique cafes such as the shop "Moon and Rice Field" (12/20) will open on a daily basis. (Other than the above, "11-1 cafe" is open every day.)
Furthermore, the popular "Welding Cafe" (12/19) will be held at the Christmas Market ver. Every month.
