A sister restaurant of "Jigemon Chanpon" Nagasaki cuisine and champon izakaya
Otaka Shoji Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "our company"), a group company of GOSSO Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "GOSSO"), will reopen the Ikebukuro PARCO store of the champon specialty restaurant "Jigemon Champon" as an izakaya where you can enjoy champon and Nagasaki cuisine, "Washoku Tempura Hojuton Shabu Shabu Sandaime Ikebukuro Jigemonton" on Thursday, December 12th. https://www.jigemonchampon.com
■ "Jigemon Champon" spreads champon culture to the world
Our company was established in 2009 and currently operates a total of 37 stores, including licensed stores, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area, offering Nagasaki cuisine as the main menu item, "Jigemonton," and "Jigemon Champon" with aged chicken and pork bone soup. Aiming to be "a champon you want to eat every day," our champon is a bowl of "freshly boiled, freshly fried, and freshly simmered" noodles with plenty of vegetables, aged chicken and pork bone soup, specially selected flying fish soy sauce, and chewy, high-hydration homemade noodles. As part of the rebranding of our directly managed stores in November, we renamed our store "Aged Chicken and Pork Bone Gochi Menya Jigemon Champon," and we aim to open 100 stores as "Gochimenya (Gourmet Noodle Shop)," including ramen, and to expand throughout Japan and overseas.
■ "Jigemonton" contributes to the local community by using Nagasaki ingredients and offers carefully prepared Japanese cuisine and local sake
"Jigemonton" is an izakaya where you can enjoy Nagasaki's ingredients, food culture, and seasonal ingredients. Our company aims to spread Nagasaki's "Jigemon" (meaning local) throughout Japan, and opened our first store in Kichijoji, Tokyo in 2014 under the slogan "local production for urban consumption." We currently operate three stores, including the notable commercial complex "Nagasaki Stadium City" that opened in November.
We are pleased to announce that "Jigemon Champon Ikebukuro PARCO Store," which was previously located on the 8th floor restaurant floor of "Ikebukuro PARCO," will be reopening as "Jigemonton" in order to cater to a wider range of customers, not just those looking for food but also for drinks.
Recommended dishes include champon, with its flavorful aged chicken and pork bone soup, as well as a wide variety of other dishes such as shabu-shabu, teppanyaki, and tempura, all made with Nagasaki's finest pork, Hojuton. In a relaxing Japanese atmosphere, you can enjoy Nagasaki shochu and sake, such as Iki, Choucho-san, and Rokujuyoshu. The restaurant is also equipped with private rooms, making it a great place for dining with friends and acquaintances or for dates. Courses with two hours of all-you-can-drink (starting from 4,980 yen including tax) are also available for year-end and New Year parties.
Through the operation of "Jigemon Champon" and "Jigemonton," we will continue to promote Nagasaki's food culture not only throughout Japan but also to the world.

About "Aged Chicken and Pork Bone Gochimenya Jigemon Champon"
"30 seconds of magic, one cup of joy."
"Local champon to the world" "New national dish: Feast champon"
Representative Takashina, originally from Omura City, Nagasaki, came up with the idea 20 years ago and opened his original restaurant, "Jigemon Chanpon," in Kichijoji, Tokyo in 2014. His vision was to recreate his hometown's (Jigemon) champon and offer a delicious fusion of Nagasaki and Tokyo flavors.
"Jigemon Champon" follows the traditions of Nagasaki, but has a unique taste that matches the food culture of Tokyo. The secret is that it is made by frying fresh vegetables over high heat all at once, then simmering the aged chicken and pork bone soup and specially selected flying fish soy sauce made over a long period of time using a unique method, and the homemade high-hydration noodles, which were developed through repeated trial and error to achieve a chewy texture, for 30 seconds, resulting in a bowl of "freshly boiled, freshly stir-fried, freshly simmered" noodles that are full of unique flavor and individuality.
In particular, the soup has a deep richness and aroma from chicken and pork bones, and while following the Nagasaki style, it has established the genre of "feast champon" that can be eaten every day to suit a variety of tastes. We will create a bowl of "champon you'll want to eat every day" that will please the mind and body, and bring smiles and energy to people all over Japan, from our local area (jigemon), and the world.
