This is the sixth store to open in Ikebukuro. In the Kanto region, it will be the third store following the Yokohama Takashimaya store and the Kagurazaka store .

The chicken soup, which is made by carefully extracting the broth from kombu seaweed, has a rich yet light taste that enhances the taste of the ingredients. "Oyakodon and Kogamo Namba Set"
The first thing I received was the “Oyakodon and Kogamo Namba Set” .
The extravagant oyakodon, made with Oyama-produced gai chicken and 3 high-quality eggs, has just the right amount of sweet and salty seasoning that will make your chopsticks move!
According to Mr. Nishina, the eggs used are Sagamihara's “Mukashi no Aji Tamago'' eggs , which are characterized by their rich and mild taste.
If you break the egg yolk that looks delicious because it is plump and dark orange, and eat it with chewy chicken and soft-boiled egg with condensed umami, the richness will be tripled or quadrupled. I feel happy to be able to feel it.
If you try the black shichimi from Kyoto's long-established shichimi shop "Gion Hararyokaku" on the table, the rich flavor and the spiciness that will stroke your tongue will bring out the umami of the chicken.
A mini-sized “Kamo Namba” filled with carefully selected Kyoto duck and green Kujo green onions. It is irresistible for green onion lovers.
In Kansai, duck nanban is udon. Hakkian's three Kanto stores serve both udon and soba, but the three Kansai stores, including the main store, do not serve soba. This time, I asked for a set of udon noodles in search of the authentic taste.
The special udon noodles are thin and soft. The duck thigh has no strange smell and you can enjoy the light sweetness of the fat. The contrast with the crisp texture of Kujo green onions with a refreshing aroma is attractive.
The special sauce has a slightly light taste and is very elegant. It's slightly sweet, and it's delicious enough to make you want to order it as a single dish.
Mr. Nishina recommended that I sprinkle Kosansho (also from Gion Hararyokaku).
When I sprinkled plenty of powdered Japanese pepper, the strong scent of Japanese pepper and the tingling numbness tightened the taste, and the perfect dish was completed.
I will never forget this taste. I know that "Kamo Namba" is not complete without powdered Japanese pepper.

This is a mini version of the "Oyakodon and Kogamo Nanban Soba Set" ordered by a guest. Compared to udon, soba also has duck loin and large grilled green onions. It seems that the seasoning is the same, so please use it as you like.
"Specialty Yaki Gozen"
This is also the store-limited menu "Specialty Yaki Gozen" ordered by the attendant.
They have popular Yakkian dishes such as “chicken boiled with water'' and “tamago kake gohan'', so Mr. Nishina says, “If you eat this, you will understand about Yakian .'' There are plenty of small bowls and tempura, and it's also pleasing to the eye.
Mizutaki's white soup is a combination of Oyama-grown chicken bones boiled for a long time and kelp stock, and is completely additive-free. Seasoning is only with salt so that you can enjoy the taste of the ingredients.
I had a mouthful of it, and the flavor of the chicken and vegetables was seeping out.
It's a pity that I can't eat porridge with this flow…! I will have to visit again at dinner time. The original ponzu with a strong citrus flavor was also excellent.
The eggs in the tamago kake gohan are the same as the oyakodon, the “old-fashioned taste of the egg''. The amount of soy sauce is minimal, and the attendees who ate it were satisfied, saying, "You can directly enjoy the umami and richness of the egg."
"Chicken Hitsumabushi Meal"
The last item on our list is the Chicken Hitsumabushi Gozen . Chicken hitsumabushi is quite rare, isn't it?
A special sauce that has been simmered for a long time is used abundantly, and Oyama-grown chicken is grilled plumply. That's what I was talking about.
Juicy chicken has an irresistible aroma. The rice with a sweet sauce like unaju is delicious as it is.
I should have been full, but I swallowed it like a drink. We recommend that you leave plenty of room for the second serving. It was a perfect match with black shichimi and powdered Japanese pepper.
