SKY CIRCUS Sunshine 60 Observatory (Ikebukuro, Tokyo) is planning to hold eight astronomical viewing events in 2021. From September 18th (Sat) to 24th (Fri), we will hold an event related to the moon as "Mid-Autumn Moon".
On the day of September 21st (Tuesday), which will be the "Mid-Autumn Moon", we will explain the mid-Autumn Moon on a monitor using a super-telephoto lens with the cooperation of starry sky photographer Hiroyuki Narizawa (*). We will hold a "Mid-Autumn Moon Viewing Party". Also, during the period, an event related to the moon will be held . A workshop where you can learn about the mechanism of the telescope using the learning astronomical telescope kit for elementary and junior high school students, and the lunar rover "YAOKI" (*), which is scheduled to be the world's first lunar rover in 2022. ) Will be operated to carry out the "YAOKI Lunar Exploration Mission" where you can experience the lunar exploration mission in a simulated manner.

* Lunar rover "YAOKI"
The first Japanese-made robot to play an active role at the forefront of lunar development . An ultra-compact (15 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm), ultra-lightweight (498 g), and high-strength lunar rover (moon rover) that can be sent to the moon many times. In 2022, we will realize the world's first lunar exploration in the private sector, and will steadily advance lunar development.

Contents: Using an astronomical telescope and a super-telephoto lens, the moon in mid-autumn is projected on the monitor. You can enjoy the harvest moon in mid-autumn with a commentary on the moon and a lecture on how to shoot the moon by starry sky photographer Narizawa.

Fee: 8,500 yen (admission fee (children) + learning astronomical telescope kit + workshop fee)
* Each participant must be accompanied by a guardian over the age of 18 (observation deck admission fee).
Target: Elementary and junior high school students First-come-first-served 15 people each day
Contents: A workshop by starry sky photographer Mr. Narizawa where you can learn about the mechanism of the telescope using the learning astronomical telescope kit (NEWTONY). After the workshop, enjoy astronomical viewing with the assembled telescope.

Contents: You can take on various missions in the same way as the actual lunar exploration mission by operating the lunar rover "YAOKI", which is scheduled for the world's first lunar exploration in 2022.
